So one of the really good things about Guild Wars 2 is the amount of content in the game that you don’t really see at first look.
For instance, jumping puzzles.
ANET has kindly added puzzles in every area of the game that require finding secret passages and jumping at heights that would blow your mind. Although if you manage to complete these challenges, you will be awarded generously with achievement points and a chest containing valuable loot.
So as I said, these challenges are in secret areas and that is were I come in ;) I will be uploading videos with all locations of these puzzles and how to complete them as I find them.
So if you find these videos useful, then please like them on youtube and comment :)

Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Event 2

June 8, 2012 in General news by Kn1ckerz

Beta Weekend Event 2 will begin on Friday, June 8th, at 8pm and will run until Monday, June 11th, at 6:59am.

Here is the official word from Chris Whiteside, the lead producer of Guild Wars 2.

If that isn’t enough to get you all bursting with excitement, here is some more news:

Your existing beta characters have not been deleted, and you will be able to continue right where you left off! This means that enterprising players with characters level 35 or higher will be able to test their mettle against the explorable version of the Ascalonian Catacombs dungeon!
In addition to sharing this news with you, I want to convey a massive “thank you” to all of you for playing in our beta events so far. The participation and enthusiasm we’ve seen has exceeded our expectations, and we’re all very grateful and appreciative here at the studio. Your support during our first Beta Weekend Event and throughout development has been instrumental in getting us prepared for launch and helping us take massive steps in the evolution of Guild Wars 2 as a whole. You, our community, are an integral part of the development process, and Guild Wars 2 simply would not be what it is today without you.
Your participation is even more important when you consider that we take our beta events very seriously in terms of our development strategy. At ArenaNet, “beta event” means exactly that—it’s a development-centric event in which we test our systems, discover new and exciting bugs, and get pivotal feedback from our testers about what is going in the right direction and what isn’t.
We have listened intently to all of your feedback from our first Beta Weekend Event, and we’ve made great strides toward resolving many of the issues you’ve helped us identify. These include party movement into overflow servers, chat functionality, key bindings, server stability, performance, and many more that we will detail in the near future.

Of course, there’s no denying the benefits of having such a vocal, outspoken community. And I’m not speaking just in terms of development; I’m also referring to how our players are spreading the word that Guild Wars 2 is more than just a game, it’s an evolving, online world that is shaped and driven by its players. Our community and our studio won’t accept anything less than excellence, and above all else, we both value a pioneering approach to the future of online worlds.
Having said all that, what is the one thing we most look forward to in our second Beta Weekend Event? In a nutshell, it’s getting the chance to play with you all: sharing a world we’ve built together, discovering what’s great and what could be better, and defining a ground-breaking world that we can all enjoy for many years to come. That’s what these beta events mean to us.
For those who haven’t yet pre-purchased Guild Wars 2, you’ll still have a chance to play in the beta. We’re teaming up with our partners to give away keys for Beta Weekend Event 2, so follow us on Twitter and Facebook to get the latest news.
Thank you all so much for your support, care, and enthusiasm—we couldn’t do it without you!

So guys, if your looking me around those dates then you will find me hanging around the guard post of Divinity's Reach :P
See you soon

Battlefield 3 double XP weekend on May 26-27

May 16, 2012 in General news by Kn1ckerz

EA have announced the first ever double XP weekend for a Battlefield game: Battlefield 3 will be getting a double XP weekend from May 26 to 27, where all points scored will be doubled. Double XP weekends have been run by many games over the years, including for many Call of Duty and Halo titles. It’s essentially a way of boosting player numbers for a short period of time by offering incentives.
Due to issues, the PC version of double XP weekend has been moved from May 12-14 to May 26-27. Apparently, it wasn’t working at all and actually broke the game, where players weren’t receiving points for awards etc. Hopefully it’ll work in 10 days time.

There have been rumours floating around that big "World Wide Web" for awhile now, that the Battlefield developers have been considering developing a service similar to Activision's Call of Duty Elite.
Well thats a thing of the past...
Today we have been informed that EA/Dice have announced a Call of Duty Elite like service for Battlefield 3 called 'Battlefield Premium'.

First out is the one-of-a-kind Premium knife and black dog tag, plus a set of soldier camos, weapon camos, dog tags and Assignments that will make sure you stand out and get more personalization options.”

The new service is rumored to be unveiled at E3 2012 in the beginning of June.

Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Event

April 25, 2012 in Featured News by Kn1ckerz

The first public Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Event has finally arrived. It begins on Friday, April 27, at noon PDT (GMT-7) and ends on Sunday, April 29, at 11:59 p.m. PDT (GMT-7). Hundreds of thousands of players from around the world will get their first taste of Guild Wars 2.

According to Arena Net there are a couple important things you need to know about this Beta Weekend Event:
  • The only way to absolutely guarantee your access to this or any future Beta Weekend Events is to pre-purchase any edition of Guild Wars 2.
  • Customers who have pre-purchased the game will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to download the client and participate in the Beta.
  • This is a public event, which means that you’re not bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). So go ahead, feel free to take screenshots, shoot video, blog, tweet, write, or compose a rock opera to share your Guild Wars 2 experience with the world.

  • Let’s take a look at all the cool stuff you’ll be doing during the Beta Weekend Event.
Choices, Choices – You’ll create your own personalized charr, human, or norn character and pick from our eight powerful professions. Your choice of race is vital to your personal story, and it determines in which of the huge starting areas you begin as well. A noble human mesmer will have a radically different game experience than a charr engineer in the service of the Iron Legion. Fortunately, you can roll more than one character and sample each starting area for yourself!
Charr Guardian at an Asuran Gate.

Worlds Collide – If you want your PvP on an epic scale, look no further than World vs. World, where three teams comprising hundreds of players wage open war across four vast maps. You’ll lay siege to castles, raid supply camps, build devastating weaponry, ambush your foes, and leap into truly massive PvP battles—all for the glory of the server. We’re warning you: WvW is so addictive that you may spend the entire Beta Weekend Event there!
PvP For You and Me – After you’ve gotten your feet wet, put your newfound skills to the test in Guild Wars 2 PvP, where small teams battle for points on a variety of challenging, compact maps. We adjust the level of PvP combatants so that all players are on equal footing. If you’ve got a competitive streak or you like playing first-person shooters online, you owe it to yourself to try out Guild Wars 2 PvP!
I Love L.A. – For the first time ever, we’re opening the metropolis of Lion’s Arch to beta players. Wander the streets of this cosmopolitan trade hub, chat with traders and travelers from every corner of Tyria, hop through one of the many asura gates to points beyond, or discover the famed diving platform at Diverse Ledges. Lion’s Arch is a city like no other!

There is will be lots of stuff in this weekends event. As Arena Net have said, "60 hours will not be enough for you to get through everything". Although fortunately for us, this will not be the last beta weekend event, but the first in a series leading up to the games release.

Much of this information is from Arena Nets's Blog. So thanks :)

    Battlelog gets live scoreboards

April 17, 2012 in Featured News by Kn1ckerz

Have you had enough of joining a server, just to see that the match is already over? Well not anymore!
A feature that many feel should have been implemented from that start has finally arrived.
EA/DICE have kindly added live scoreboards to Battlelog. So now when you are browsing the endless list of servers, you will be able to see who is in the server, their current scores and how many tickets are remaining for both teams.

So thanks EA/DICE! Abit late, but atleast its finally here :)
